On June 3, 2021, the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer on
NASA’s Aqua satellite acquired a true-color image of a slice of
   Scandinavia in late spring.

Parts of four countries are captured in this image. In the north, the
Scandinavian Mountains of Norway remain covered with snow, despite
lengthening daylight and warming temperatures. South of the mountains,
Sweden and Finland share the coastline of the Gulf of Bothnia (seen in
left side of this image); Sweden claims the western coast and the east
belongs to Finland. The land in the east, partially encircling the
White Sea, belongs to Russia. The Barents Sea sits in the northeast,
partially covered by a bank of white cloud.
