Setup Guide for Mega Slots - 28/06/19

1. Create a directory called mega77. Unzip the mega160.zip archive into the
    directory you created.

2. Edit the "mega.cfg" file and set it to the following:

    Your BBS Name
    Your First Name
    Your Last Name
    50
    1000
    yes
    7
    1000
    14

3. Create a directory inside your mega77 directory called ibbs. Unzip the
meg-ibbs.zip archive into the newly created ibbs directory.

4. Inside the ibbs directory create 2 new directories. One called data and
    one called log.

5. Now run "meg-ibbs.exe -setup" and setup up meg-ibbs according to the
    settings below.

    MEG-IBBS Configuration Menu.

    (A) Your Network Address: 77:1/111 <- Your SciNet Node Number
    (B) Route To Address: 77:1/100 <- Set To 77:1/100
    (C) MEGA Path: D:\DOORS\MEGA77 <- Path to Mega Slots
    (D) IBBS Path: D:\DOORS\MEGA77\IBBS <- Mega Slots IBBS Dir
    (E) Data Path: D:\DOORS\MEGA77\IBBS\DATA <- IBBS Data Dir (Step 4)
    (F) *.MSG Path: S:\NETMAIL <- Netmail Path (See below)
    (G) File Path: S:\INBOUND <- Your Inbound Path
    (H) Logs Path: D:\DOORS\MEGA77\IBBS\LOG <- IBBS Log Dir (Step 4)
    (I) Attach Flag [Toggle]: CRASH
    (J) Direct Flag [Toggle]: NO
    (K) Co Ordinator [Toggle]: NO
    (L) Sysop Name: Frank Linhares <- Your Name
    (M) BBS Name: The Diskshop BBS <- Your BBS Name
    (N) Multi Co-ord [Toggle]: NO
    (Q) Exit & Save
    (X) Exit NO Save

If you are running Mystic BBS or are running this under dosemu (see dosemu
instructions below) you should create a netmail directory specifically for
interbbs games. The files that are created in this directory are not
needed and can be deleted when you script moving outbound packets to
the filebox mentioned below in the dosemu instructions.

6. Add the following lines to your interbbs batch file.

(Be sure to edit the paths to reflect your system configuration.)

    d:
    cd \path\to\mega77\ibbs
    meg-ibbs.exe -ibbsin
    meg-ibbs.exe -ibbsout

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those running Mystic or dosemu: Mystic BBS does not use the *.MSG
format for netmail and Mega Slots uses netmail file attach to send the
packets back to my system. You will have to script moving the outbound
packets to a filebox created for my system, 77:1/100. It should look
something like this in your echomail nodes entry for 77:1/100

  +----------------+--- Node ID 11 (77:1/100@scinet) ---------------------+
  | Active | No 1:GENERAL |

Make sure your set "Use Filebox" to yes and create a directory for the
  filebox under Filebox Dir.

The same applies to any bbs running interbbs games through dosemu. The
typical netmail attach method will not work as the paths created in the
netmail message will be dos based and not linux based. Depending on what
interbbs game you are running, you need to move any outbound packets to a
filebox for my node via a script. In this games case, you will be moving
anything created in the outbound directory to the filebox you setup for my
  system.

You can create fileboxes for nodes in Mystic (see above), binkd (see
examples in the binkd.cfg) and others. If you need help with getting this
working, you can find it in the SCIGAME echo of SciNet.
