   Summary Author: Cristian López

There are many rock formations named Cerro Ventana (Window Hill) around
the world, the one seen here is part of the Ernesto Tornquist
Provincial Park, in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. This
formation is the product of a landslide and resembles a window 30 feet
(9 m) wide and 36 feet (11 m) high on the top of the hill. A
popular activity here is to climb to the 3,727-foot summit (1,136
   m) and take in the expansive view over the surrounding pampas. The
hill is the namesake of the Sierra de la Ventana mountain range
which was formed of Paleozoic rocks over 480 million years ago.
