Might the Odyssey be considered an early form of litrpg?

"The Odyssey is an epic poem in 24 books traditionally attributed to the ancient Greek poet Homer. The poem is the story of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, who wanders for 10 years (although the action of the poem covers only the final six weeks) trying to get home after the Trojan War."

In any case.. this material is quite popular right now, and keeing it in stock for sale is challenging.

Personally, I find this version, 9781667212166, to be a fine treatment. The translation is rendered in standard novel format, not poem-style, and the english is "modern", thus no friction in the reading experience.

    Also..

Dungeon Crawler Carl is really taking off in big ways. The 2nd volume (from 2021) was just recently released in paperback. Considering that there are 8 volumes in this series sofar, looks like the publisher is prepared to milk this material in hardback (at +$40ea) for a while!
